To this day the colonial past shapes asymmetrical power relations between Africa and Europe. The diverse continent is predicted to experience strong population growth and economic upswing in some countries. How do African societies position themselves in the face of political, economic, social and cultural challenges? What visions of the future are there in African societies for an African renaissance? What does this mean for the continent's international relations? How can cooperation be successful at eye level?
 
With Obiageli "Oby" Katryn Ezekwesili, former presidential candidate of Nigeria, expert for economic policy, co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement and named by the New York Times in 2015 as one of the 25 most important women.
