Country Report
Despite being a geographically small country, due to a substantial Irish diaspora, Ireland has a sizable reserve of soft power, especially in English-speaking countries. To face challenges like the global minimum corporate tax rate, to tackle issues posed by Brexit, and diversify its trade relations, Ireland is adapting its external cultural policy (ECP). However, the lack of formalized structures for soft power projection leaves significant potential for a cohesive ECP to expand.
