Artistic Freedom & Mobility Beyond the Covid-19 Crisis

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the creative and cultural sector hard. Among other things, it has hampered cross-border mobility, including temporary relocation programmes that enable artists from restrictive political contexts to continue their work. What are artists' experiences of the challenges posed by the pandemic, and what strategies have they developed to deal with them? How can transnational solidarity for artistic freedom be strengthened in the face of the effects of the pandemic and future threats? How can artists be supported and artistic freedom preserved despite these restrictions?
