The Role of the European Union
The role of culture for sustainable development is reflected in a cross-cutting manner in many of the goals of the 2030 Agenda, making the Agenda essential for international cultural relations and external cultural policies at the level of European Union (EU) Member States, as well as for the EU's external cultural relations. Where does the EU stand five years after the adoption of the Agenda? Where are its political priorities? Where is the EU heading ten years before the deadline for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? How can the EU and its Member States maximise their impact?
