Towards More Equitable Support for Relocation in North-South Contexts (Summary Report)

Although relocation and protection programmes are based on international solidarity, they are shaped by global power dynamics and colonial histories. As a result, cultural workers also experience discrimination during their stay in protection programmes. Recommendations from a report analysing how injustices, structural and individual racism can be addressed. How do discriminatory visa and border regulations or funding requirements limit the scope of relocation programmes? What is the role of internalised injustices, power imbalances and discrimination? What is the responsibility of those involved in organisational structures and processes to address these issues?
